Islamabad May 3, 2008: The Pakistan Peoples Party has made special arrangements for the rehabilitation of the family members of those martyred during the struggle for the restoration of democracy.

The Party Co-chairman Senator Asif Ali Zardari today issued directions for the setting of two special offices located each in Bilawal House Karachi and in Zardari House in Islamabad.

The office in the Bilawal House Karachi will be headed by the President PPP Karachi division Faisal Abedi and the one in Zardari House Islamabad will be headed by Dr. Israr Shah Member Central Executive Committee of the Party. The designated offices will process the cases for rehabilitation with the government.

"The nation and the Party are proud of those who laid down their lives for the cause of democracy", said Mr. Asif Zardari in his directive and added, "The Party will do whatever is possible to rehabilitate the families of the martyrs".

He also directed that he should be regularly kept informed of the progress made in the applications received from the affected families.
