Islamabad May 20, 2008: Indian Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee today called on the Co-Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Asif Ali Zardari in Zardari House in Islamabad today.

The Indian Foreign Minister was accompanied by Indian Foreign Secretary Shrishankar Menon, High Commission of India in Islamabad Satyabarta Pal, Joint Secretary Ministry of External Affairs T.C.A Raghvan and Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Vohra.
 
Senator Asif Ali Zardari was assisted by Foreign Minister Sardar Assef Ahmed Ali, National Security Advisor Mahmood Durrani, Brig Aman and Farahnaz MNA.

The Indian Foreign Minister condoled the assassination of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and paid tributes to her leadership.

During the meeting the two sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
