Plans to Fly to UAE tomorrow to condole
death
Islamabad June 3, 2008: Co-Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party
senator Asif Ali Zardari has expressed profound grief and shock over the
death of Shaikh Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan in a helicopter crash in Gulf
waters.
Shaikh Nasser was the brother of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa
bin Zayed. The Ministry of Presidential Affairs announced three days
official mourning starting Tuesday.
In a message today Senator Asif Ali Zardari said that he was grieved and
shocked over the tragic death of Shaikh Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan. "Our
thoughts and prayers are with the members of the bereaved family in
their hour of grief" he said in his message.
On behalf of the Pakistan Peoples Party and on my own behalf I extend
our heartfelt condolences on the tragic death of Shaikh Nasser and those
traveling with him in the copter, he said.
He also prayed for eternal rest to the departed soul and patience to the
members of bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity.
The PPP Co-chairman plans to fly to Abu Dhabi Wednesday to offer his
condolences.
