Islamabad June 2, 2008: Co Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Asif Ali Zardari has strongly condemned the bomb attack on the Danish Embassy in Islamabad.

In a statement today he said that such attacks in the name of religion was the work of the enemies of Pakistan and religion. "The perpetrators will never be allowed to succeed in their designs to harm the country".

He expressed profound grief and shock over the loss of lives in the bomb blast. Senator Asif Zardari also prayed for eternal peace to the souls of victims and speedy recovery to those injured in the blast.
