Islamabad, 15 April 2008: Pakistan Peoples Party has invited applications from hopefuls for the award of Party tickets for the bye-elections to the Senate.

Making this announcement today Secretary General of the Party Jehangir Bader said that the last date for submission of the applications to be addressed to the Party's Co-Chairman Senator Asif Ali Zardari is 20 April 2008.

Applications should be accompanied with a bank draft of Rs 30,000 (Rupees thirty thousand). The bank draft will be drawn in the name of "Pakistan Peoples Party".

Jehangir Bader warned against making payments in cash and said that no cash payment will be accepted with the application.

Applications complete in all respects should reach the Central Secretariat, Pakistan Peoples Party, House No. 1, Street 85, Sector G-6/4, Islamabad marked to the attention Mr. Kamran Zafar. The CV of the applicants and evidence of their educational qualifications should also be attached with the applications, he said.
